The Play Gaps idea

Kids don't avoid learning. They avoid boring learning.

Each game is built around what kids already love: bright characters, rewarding sounds, satisfying taps. The learning is hidden inside all of it. Counting becomes a challenge. Letters become a puzzle. Shapes become the goal. Studies on game-based learning consistently show that kids stay more engaged and remember more when learning and play happen together. No battles at the table.

Education hidden inside the fun

The learning is not added on top. It is built into the game itself. Tap the right letter. Count the falling numbers. Match the shape. The skill is the game.

Built for little hands

Big buttons, clear visuals, no reading required to start. Every game is designed around how a 3-year-old actually holds a phone and what they naturally want to tap.

Made for the gaps in your day

Waiting at the doctor's. Sitting in the back of the car. The five minutes before dinner is ready. Those small pockets of time in every family's day. That is what Play Gaps was made for.

Teacher Approved, not self-labeled

Six of our games carry Google Play's Teacher Approved badge, Google's own recognition for kids' apps that meet high standards for quality and educational value. It is their badge, not ours.

Free. Genuinely free.

Every game is free to download. Some have ads. That is how we keep building. Any paid extras are clearly optional and never block the core game.

Your family's data stays yours

Play Gaps games do not collect data from children. For full transparency, each game's data practices are also listed in its Google Play Data Safety section, linked from every card.

Questions

Good to know before you install.

Are these games really meant for a 3-year-old?

Yes. Every Play Gaps game is built with the youngest players in mind: big tap targets, clear sounds, bright visuals, and zero reading required to get started. Kids as young as 3 figure them out on their own within a few seconds.

Are the games free, or is that the catch?

Free to download, free to play. Some games show ads. That is how development stays funded. Any paid extras are clearly optional and never block the main game. No subscriptions, no hidden fees.

What does Google's Teacher Approved badge actually mean?

It is a Google Play program, not something we gave ourselves. Google reviews kids' apps against their own quality guidelines, and apps that pass earn the Teacher Approved badge. Six Play Gaps games currently carry it. Look for the ribbon on their cards.

Do these games collect data from my child?

No. Play Gaps games do not collect data from children. For full transparency, each game's data practices are also listed in its Google Play Data Safety section. Every card on this page links straight to it.

How do I actually get a game onto my child's phone?

Tap any game card on this page. It opens that game's Google Play listing in a new tab. Install it the same way as any other Android app. Done.

Your child is going to learn anyway. They might as well love doing it.
